The Bournemouth Route A338
From the North, follow signs to Bournemouth, via the M3 and M27 and A31. Just past Ringwood, filter left and exit the A31 onto the A338 to Bournemouth.
For the next 11.5 miles, proceed along the A338 over flyovers, under gyratory junctions and across roundabouts, until you reach the entrance to Poole called County Gates. This major gyratory system is also known as the Liverpool Victoris roundabout, being the location of the HQ offices for Liverpool Victoria insurance. Take the 4th exit toward Poole, Parkstone. At the next roundabout, go straight across, and at the next roundabout (by Homebase) turn right into Alder Road.
Proceed downhill and up the other side. Take the first exit and go straight onto the small slip road which turns onto Alder Hills Road. Hugh Symons Communications Ltd is at the top of the hill, on the right.
The Poole Route A348
From the North, follows signs to Bournemouth, via the M3 and M27 and A31. Ignore the exit A338 to Bournemouth. At this roundabout go straight under the gyratory roundabout toward Poole. Negotiate a series of roundabouts, each time straight across following signs to Poole. At the roundabout signposting Dorchester A31 go straight toward Poole. This route becomes the A348 via Ferndown and eventually crosses the Stour River at Longham.
The A348 becomes dual carriageway at the Bear Cross roundabout. Go straight across and carry on, over the next roundabout. At the following roundabout, identified with a BP garage on the left, turn left into Wallisdown Road. This is marked A3049 Bournemouth.
At the following roundabout, turn right into Alder Road, marked Branksome/Parkstone. At the bottom of the hill, at the Sainsburys Roundabout exit to the right and take the first left into Alder Hills Road, Hugh Symons Communications Ltd is at the top of the hill, on the right.
Rail
South-West Trains operate an hourly service from Waterloo (London) to Bournemouth and Poole. The Bournemouth station is marginally closer to the Hugh Symons offices. Taxis operate from both stations.
Air
Air services operate to Bournemouth Airport from Ireland and the Channel Islands. Southampton Airport serves most EU countries, but is some 50 kilometres distant. Taxis are available at both airports. From Heathrow, the National Express Coach serves Bournemouth and Poole. The Bournemouth terminus is located at the Bournemouth rail station, where taxis are available.
